Akin to the truth is a lengthy but entertaining look at the life of a child who, surrounded by loving family, feels the ever present effects of the knowledge that she was adopted and how that knowledge effects every aspect of her life from how she interacts with peers to learning and the journey she goes on in adult hood- arguably the most interesting part of the book- to learn more about her parents and find out more about herself.
Thanks for your review, Sheila!
